The City of Springboro wanted to establish a walking trail along Red Lion-Five Points Road. They contracted Axcess to design a pedestrian bridge solution for a portion of the trail and specified these requirements:
To meet these requirements, Axess designed a beam bridge made with weathering steel, a fiberglass deck, and an aluminum railing. It was easy to incorporate the desired grey hue into the design thanks to the wide range of available FRP colors and paintable metal materials used. The finished bridge requires no maintenance and will last for years to come.
