Clermont County Wilson Nature Preserve
The first of multiple projects that Axcess and Clermont County Parks have been able to work together on installing.
Loveland, OH
The City of Loveland, Ohio was expanding its network of walking trails near the downtown area and needed a pedestrian bridge across O’Bannon Creek. This urban trail expansion project had some unique requirements:
Axcess designed a bridge without trusses that combined a fiberglass deck with co-fabricated weathering steel beams and an aluminum railing. This design expanded the bridge to 50 feet in length, which is longer than typical bridge spans for a non-truss structure. This maintenance-free solution also ensures the City will have minimal upkeep and maintenance requirements for the life of the bridge.
BRIDGE SPAN: 50 feet
BRIDGE WIDTH: 7.7 feet

Connecting a new walking path in the Jackson Grant development, this composite deck bridge matches the custom style of the homes surrounding it.
This bridge spans a creek that frequently floods and would block the community from being able to access most of the walking trails.
