The Jackson Grant community has been working on an expansive walking path for the past several years as it continues to build homes in the development.

Republic Development was building a new housing development, Jackson’s Grant, in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. They wanted to include a pedestrian bridge along with walking trails throughout the neighborhood.
This project included some unique requirements such as:
Axcess designed a bridge that consists of weathering steel beams with a solid surface fiberglass deck. The railing was omitted in order to maintain the scenic view, and wood curbs were installed to ensure safe passage over the bridge. The solid surface FRP also allows for a wide range of color options to create the desired visual effect.
